Map of Pompei Circle

What is Pompei Circle?

Pompei Circle is a small street located in Golden Gate Park and encircles the Dahlia Dell.

Why a rename?

The Dahlia Society of California - San Francisco has grown dahlias in the Dahlia Dell for over 100 years. To honor the dahlia and its historic showcase garden in Golden Gate Park (and to mark the centennial of the dahlia as San Francisco’s official flower), DSCSF is seeking community input on a proposal to rename Pompei Circle to a name that reflects the Dahlia Dell.
